Principal’s Message

Greetings WSJE Parents, Guardians, and Scholars, It is my pleasure to welcome you to West St. John Elementary School for the 2022/2023 school year. I hope to build on our past successes to continue to improve student achievement and develop a positive learning environment. Our school is here to serve the educational needs of the community as well as the entire parish. At West St. John Elementary, we believe that open and clear communication between school and home is important to the success of our educational programs. Our parents/guardians and community members are our partners in the important job of educating the children of this community. We welcome your participation and support this school year. Working together, we will be able to reach our collective and individual goals to celebrate the achievements of our scholars. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at 985-497-3347. I look forward to working with all stakeholders this school year.
Sincerely,
Chantell H. Walker Principal
